Our story...
Atelier Belle was built on a love of and passion for accessories. For finding ones that reflect who we are, where we've been and where we're going.
After years of struggling to find trend-led accessories that also lasted, lifestyle journalist Belinda Wanis decided to make them herself.
“I choose and create things that I love and jewellery that I feel reflects the personality, lifestyles and outlook of my friends from around the world,” Belinda says. “The result is a carefully designed and curated collection that I hope people will love as much as I do.”
Inspiration
Inspired by years covering celebrity and fashion news as well as her adventures as a travel journalist, the pieces have been influenced by the cities she lived in – Copenhagen, London and Sydney as well as the cities she loves – Paris, New York, Cairo, Rome and Antalya– and the islands that renew her – Koh Phangan, Kefalonia, Antigua, Sicily and Rottnest.
The best materials
We choose to work with high-quality base metals that are hypoallergenic, can withstand corrosion and can be restored if damaged. The sterling silver and surgical stainless steel are polished for the shiny silver finish or heavy plated in 14 -18k gold for a long-lasting finish.
Unique Designs
We create and source designs that reflect a modern and contemporary outlook. Building Atelier Belle has been a painstaking passion project to ensure it is the best it could be.
What's in a name
The name Atelier Belle came from Belinda’s London lifestyle website Belle About Town, which has been running successfully for 8 years, with a Parisian twist, atelier meaning studio or workshop in French. Perhaps a Sydney Belle About Town will be around the corner too…
